Legal support update – we’re working on an app!

We’ve offered legal support for a long time. And for a long time, it has been one of or more popular services.

People get in touch with us to get access to a legal helpline (provided by Law Express). It’s a useful service that allows people to talk to legal experts about anything that they need some advice on. Most calls are around employment law, but they vary from family law to consumer law.

We recognised the convenience and usefulness of this service and this year we decided to expand on that. Working with Law Express, we now have legal factsheets available on the website to give you the ins and outs of various topics.

What’s more, we’re also developing an app with Law Express so that you can access legal support anywhere at any time. The app will be launched in the spring and will be available for current and former IET members and their families. Information on the app will cover many areas of the law and regularly updated by the Law Express team. This will ensure that our community gets the latest, most relevant advice at their fingertips.

In the meantime, you can find out more about the support we offer here.
