Sleep support

Struggling to sleep? Access free support and guidance from expert sleep coaches from the comfort of your own home

Why sleep support is important

Sleep is as important to your health as diet and exercise. And sleep is just as important for your mental health. But one in three of us will have problems with sleep at some point and because we don't know where to turn we are more likely to suffer in silence.

Finding the right support

If people do try to address sleep problems, they might resort to taking sleeping pills to get control over their sleep. However, sleeping pills do not provide natural sleep, they are often ineffective and potentially harmful. Getting the right sleep support is vital to your health. That's why we've partnered with Sleepstation to provide free support and guidance for engineers and their families who think they might have a sleep problem.

How Sleepstation works

You'll work with Sleepstation to do an initial assessment to understand what kind of sleep problems you're having. Sleepstation offer similar support you'd get in clinics - but from the comfort of your own home. Trained experts will work with you to help you put what you've learned into practice.  If after the initial assessment you need further treatment, we've made this available for current and former IET members and their families.

Eligibility

Anyone with a connection to engineering can access a free sleep assessment. The results of the assessment will indicate further support and options. Simply click the link below to register on Sleepstation's website.

This link will take you away from Foothold's website to Sleepstation so you'll be subject to their terms and conditions. Please note the Sleepstation website is being blocked in some workplaces. If you are experiencing difficulties please try accessing the page using a phone or home computer.
