‘Self-care’ is quite a popular buzzword at the moment, but so often its meaning is misunderstood. Some people think self-care is a bit of a ‘woo woo’ word, and certainly some content online suggests it means paying for indulgent pampering treatments or making your house look like a show home.

So, what is self-care really?

It’s committing to small, daily actions and habits with the aim of protecting your physical and mental health, bringing joy to your life, and preventing stress and burnout.
We can all benefit from self-care. In this thought-provoking webinar, our expert speaker will…

• Examine the definition of self-care (and bust the myth that self-care is selfish!)
• Introduce the six pillars to self-care: hygiene, nutrition, lifestyle, environment, socioeconomics, and self-medication
• Explore the science of preventing illness and disease
• Share practical ideas on how to embrace self-care in your life
