We’re delighted to introduce our 2023-24 impact report, outlining the social impact that Foothold have delivered for the engineering community, and also how the engineering community have support Foothold’s work too.

Foothold remains committed to ensuring that no engineer or their family needs to face life’s challenges alone. We continued providing vital financial support to those in need and helping our community build their resilience to life’s challenges. Our community also shared their stories in new ways to encourage others to seek support.

We received incredible support from our community throughout 2023-24. We rely on donations and gifts in wills, as well as the support of volunteers, to deliver all our life-changing work. Our achievements simply wouldn’t be possible without amazing supporters like you!

In the impact report you’ll find:

• The level of financial support Foothold have provided in grants to people in need
• How ‘My Money Checker’ is helping people that apply for financial support to find other forms of financial support they may not realise they were entitled to
• Engagement with Foothold’s digital health and wellbeing programmes (including monthly webinars, wellbeing hub, differently wired hub etc)
• The donations and volunteering contributions that have helped make our support for the engineering community possible
